| Art Lanier was born and raised in Miami, Florida. Art spent his youth in the sun and as a fisherman in the Keys before going to the seminary to follow in his father's footsteps. He then decided to pursue music seriously and took a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Stetson University in DeLand. After moving around a few times, he settled in Tallahassee where he directed their chorus for seven years. After a three-year hiatus from Barbershop, Art and family moved to the Orlando area and he started looking around for another chorus to direct. We signed him up December 20, 2005, and are looking forward to a new year filled with new music and fun. |
